Essence Gameplay Demo

Description

Essence is a 2.5D puzzle platform gameplay demo, set in a dystopian future that is overcome by pollution and the consumption of the natural world. The demo follows a fox-like creature as it tries to survive and escape the dangerous environment that it finds itself in.

This project is part of a DES410: HonoursProject module and was made in Unreal Engine 5 and focused on studying level design as well as focusing on environmental narration and its inclusion within the gameplay and design of the game.
